The Canada Small Business
Financing Program can be accessed by Canadian small businesses with annual gross revenues
under $5,000,000. The program works by encouraging financial institutions and leasing companies to
make their financing available to small businesses. The rates are attractive, because in the event of
default, the federal government partially reimburses the loss.
Hydro Ottawa
powerWISE® Business Incentive Program. Hydro Ottawa and 5 other Ontario utilities in the
powerWISE® group are assisting large Institutional, Commercial and Industrial customers to conserve
energy by offering direct incentives. This program is currently being offered as a limited duration
pilot.
